The headline was . . . .
“Virgin Galactic opened space ticket sales to the general public today.”
It might lead you to believe that the price for this edge of space ride was now within reach, that it is for the “general public.”
Apparently, that phrase means something else to Virgin Galactic. The cost for such an experience is far from what the “general public” can afford — $450,000. While you can split your payment up with $150,00 down, and $300,00 before flying, such a charge is not for the general public, but for the economic elite who can afford the experience of weightlessness, and who also will experience a lighter wallet upon take-off!
Okay, it is not really for the general public. Only a four to six people will be able to launch from Las Cruces, New Mexico, aboard “SpaceShipTwo-Unity,” and look out of one of the 17 windows, 5 miles above the planet earth, at the edge of the heavens.
It is not really available to the “general public.” But there is an amazing offer that is within the reach of the “General Public,” and has been made available to any and all who are honestly interested in it. Actually, it has been available for centuries and many people have taken advantage of it. The experience was designed to last a lifetime — the “forgiveness of all their sins,” past – present- and future.
Now that is “weightlessness!”
Along with the promise. . .
It’s not for only a few of the economic elite. There is no price you need to pay or that you can pay. Reservations are for those who will place their faith, their trust, their confidence in Jesus — in Who He Is, and What He Has Done — In Jesus, Who is the only begotten Son of God, and in His work on Calvary which paid for our your sins.

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from sin toward you. Please forgive me, and help me grow as a Christian. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears this prayer. I now place my faith in Who He was, and What He has done for me on Calvary. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
